Class Detail - Basic Water Works Operations
Class time: 8:00 am - 5 pm (Day 1 - 2) & 8:00am - 12pm (Day 3) to ensure 20 hours of instruction.

The Basic Water Works Operations gives students an introduction to the source, characteristics, production, treatment, storage, and distribution of potable water. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to identify general hazards, demonstrate safety practices, explain basic water chemistry, and utilize mathematics as applied to chemical feeding and other operational problems.
Completing this course provides continuing education credit for the following licenses:
